Vilnius University launched a workshop on "Institutional Regulation Framework for Doctoral Education: Experience of Vilnius University."
May 4, 2022In Vilnius University workshop on "Institutional Regulation Framework for Doctoral Education: Experience of Vilnius University" launched on May 2, 2022, which is attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia, international and partner universities of the Republic of Armenia, and research institutes.
International Scientific-Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the RA is represented at the workshop by Narine Vardanyan, Head of the Quality Assurance Department, Dean Atom Mkhitaryan, Karen Sargsyan, Head of the Department of Management, Narine Manukyan, Deputy Head of the Department of Economics, and lecturer Roxana Zakharyan.
At the official opening, Arunas Povilunas, Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy of Vilnius University, Karen Keryan, President of the RA BOC and ARMDOCT program coordinator Arevik Ohanyan made welcoming speeches. Arunas Povilunas mentioned in his speech. "If we express our work in three words, we can say that we are open, flexible and future-oriented." Karen Keryan referred to the third-degree educational reforms launched in Armenia. He emphasized that the third level education would be changed fundamentally. Arevik Ohanyan highlighted the goal of the ARMDOCT program, the results recorded, and future plans and arrangements. She expressed hope that as a result of the program, the RA universities would be able to establish new effective cooperation ties.
At the end of the day, the representatives of the University of Vilnius organized an interesting and informative tour for the participants around the buildings of the University of Vilnius and its library, which was a great opportunity to get acquainted with the history and development of one of the oldest universities.
The workshop is scheduled for May 2-6.
