Seminar and Memorandum

The collaboration between the ISEC NAS RA Laboratory of Bioinformatics and the Institute of Chemistry of Potsdam University, Germany started from 2006. During the years of this cooperation, 9 joint scientific articles have been published in prestigious international journals.
On August 26, 2019 the Head of the ISEC NAS RA Laboratory of Bioinformatics, Dr. of Physical-Mathematical Sciences, Armen Poghosyan and Professor of Colloid Chemistry Group of Potsdam University, Joachim Koetz signed a Memorandum on Scientific Cooperation, which aims at strengthening and promoting the further development of cooperation in the field of education and science between the Chair of Colloid Chemistry of Potsdam University and the of the Laboratory of Bioinformatics of the ISEC NAS RA.
On the same day, a scientific seminar was held in collaboration with the Bioinformatics Group and the Institute of Chemistry of the University of Potsdam, which include computer modeling, development of software packages and various modules of complex systems (biological model membranes, surface active material / polymer mixtures, protein modules, etc.).
At the end of the seminar, the two scientific groups signed an agreement on further cooperation.
