Armen Sargsyan is unanimously elected director of the International Scientific-Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia

Armen Sargsyan, PhD in Economics, was unanimously elected Director of the International Scientific-Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia on December 23, 2010.

Armen Sargsyan was born in 1986. In 2008 he graduated from the Armenian State University of Economics. In 2011 he received the PhD in Economics. In 2015 he received master's degree in law.

Throughout his tenure, Armen Sargsyan has been at the root of the establishment of the Scientific-Educational Center. He passed his professional path in the International Scientific-Educational Center, worked in different subdivisions, being the head of a computer laboratory, deputy head of the educational department, head of the department of information technologies. From October 2020 he was the acting director of the International Scientific-Educational Center of NAS RA.

Armen Sargsyan's role in the establishment of the Center's IT department is immense. Now the Center is unique in Armenia with its technical equipment, gadgets, technological resources, solutions worthy of imitation. With the active efforts of Armen Sargsyan, the classrooms, laboratories and halls were equipped with the necessary equipment.

Also noteworthy is Armen Sargsyan's great contribution to the organization of distance learning. An electronic distance learning system has been set up at the center, and a master's degree program in distance learning has been introduced. Since 2014, Armen Sargsyan has been regularly organizing training courses for the development and implementation of distance learning courses.

In all the circles he leads, Armen Sargsyan has shown an innovative and creative approach, contributing to the development and establishment of the Center.
