The Department of Information Technologies of the International Scientific-Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia is looking for a knowledgeable, responsible, analytical-minded specialist for the vacant position of Network Administrator of the Department of Information Technologies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Higher education (preferably technical)
• Knowledge of information systems (software, technical, network)
• At least 2 years of work experience in the field of IT
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of computer networks, network technologies, software and equipment
• Knowledge of new educational information technologies is desirable

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good knowledge of Armenian and English languages
• Ability to articulate thoughts in written or oral form
• Ability to work in a team!
• Sense of responsibility, willingness to learn, ability to orientate quickly and to solve problems

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR OF THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT

• Install the required programs, solve software problems,
• Carry out installation of network equipment և software maintenance;
• Carry out computer և installation of related equipment և software maintenance;
• Installation of network cables և dismantling, ensuring optimal work
• Network troubleshooting setup
• Furnishing computer classrooms
• Identify the cause of computer failure and Quick fix
• Ensuring uninterrupted operation of computers and related equipment.
• Server installation, data protection և archiving
• Providing access to the information systems and services, operating in the center
• Advising and assisting the center's staff, faculty, students
• Development of necessary information and training guides
• Implementation of other functions related to the department
