Expanding Collaboration with the University of Veliko Tarnovo in Bulgaria

From November 13-17, within the framework of the fourth International Staff Week of the Erasmus+ program "Partnerships for Future Cooperation", held at St.Cyril and St.Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo in Bulgaria, Director of the International Scientific- Educational Center of NAS RA Armen Sargsyan met with the rector of the University Dimitar Dimitrov. Members of the ISEC delegation and representatives of the university administration were also present.
During the meeting the parties discussed the prospects for new cooperation with the University of Veliko Tarnovo in Bulgaria, and it was decided to sign a new cooperation agreement in addition to the current inter-institutional agreement in order to strengthen the institutional foundation of this cooperation.
It was decided to conclude a bilateral cooperation agreement since both institutions have similar goals in the areas of research, education, development, and cultural dissemination. Additionally, there is an institutional mutual interest in fostering and encouraging international cooperation as well as educational, scientific, and technical exchanges.
It should be noted that the International Scientific- Educational Center of NAS RA is currently taking part in the international credit mobility program with St.Cyril and St.Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo in Bulgaria, within the framework of which academic mobility of students and teaching staff will be carried out.
