An on-line English training course for professional development of academic staff of ISEC NAS RA

On June 6-13, 2022, a two-week on-line English training course with 2 ECTS credits was held for professional development of academic staff of Foreign Languages Department of International Scientific-Educational Center of NAS RA.
The training course was dedicated to modern methodology of language teaching, which was conducted by associate professor, Ph.D., Lilit Bekaryan, guest lecturer of YSU Intercultural Communication English Department.
Throughout the lectures the academic staff were introduced to modern methods of language teaching aimed at developing written communication skills through a business task, advancing learners’ verbal communication skills in business settings, integrating language and content in the classroom (CLIL vs ESP), mastering presentation skills, as well as error correction techniques in the classroom.
During the whole training the participants were instructed to accomplish different practical activities, quizzes and other targeted tasks.
At the end of the training, the lecturers were awarded certificates.
