Quality Assurance as the Core of the Management at the International Scientific-Educational Center

Yerevan, Armenia - On September 18, a five-day training course titled "Improvement, Monitoring, and Quality Assessment of Professional Educational Programs," held by the National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance Foundation of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, commenced at the International Scientific-Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia.

Yerjanik Zargaryan, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, Narine Vardanyan, Head of the Quality Assurance Department, Atom Mkhitaryan, Dean at the International Scientific-Educational Center, Robert Ghazaryan, Head of the Department of Oriental Studies, Lilit Sargsyan, Head of the Department of Geology, Karen Sargsyan, Head of the Department of Economics and Management, Manana Yenokyan, Quality Assurance Officer at the Department of Psychology, and Julieta Sevyan, staff member at the Dean's Office participated in the training.

The training course was conducted by Ruben Topchyan, Director of the National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance Foundation, who executed the mechanisms for improving professional educational programs. He demonstrated critical areas needing improvement by using specific examples and highlighting directions for development.

The second phase of the training was conducted with active discussions and a question-and-answer session.

Upon completion of the five-day training course, participants will receive certificates. The training is designed for a total of 30 hours (15 classroom hours and 15 self-study hours), equivalent to 1 credit.
