The SC New Chairman was welcomed by ISEC

On November 3, on the initiative of Dean Atom Mkhitaryan and the Department of Public Relations and Career, a meeting was held with seniors from the 1st-2nd years of ISEC various departments along with representatives from the Student Council and the Student Scientific Society at the International Scientific-Educational Center of NAS RA.
In his introductory speech Dean A. Mkhitaryan welcomed everyone and went over the agenda, which included selecting new members for the Student Council and a new chairman, identifying the needs of the students, and developing relevant solutions.
In order to support students' scientific and creative endeavors and to promote the creation and execution of programs that guarantee educational advancement, the Head of the Public Relations and Career Department, Lilit Adamyan, gave a presentation to the attendees about the work that the department is doing in the context of its active cooperation with SSS and SC.
Prior to moving on to the main agenda, the SSS chairman Narek Sahakyan and the SC vice- chairman Lianush Ohanyan presented the work, accomplishments and upcoming tasks of the structures. Then the students worked in small groups with the aim of determining theirs needs and concerns following a group discussion.
The next item on the agenda was the appointment of a new chairman of SC. Four candidates who put forth their ideas for enhancing the SC's work were nominated.
The SC chairman, Araksya Gevorgyan, a first-year master's student studying Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, was chosen by unanimous vote. A. Gevorgyan thanked the participants for their trust and promised to carry out productive work for the organization's advantage.
Vahe Atoyan, a 1st-year master's student of Molecular and Cellular Biology, was elected as the vice-chairman of SC, and Anahit Atanesyan, a 1st-year master's student of Tourism Management, was elected as the SC secretary.
During the meeting, Liana Gyurjyan, a 1st-year master’s student in Oriental Studies, was elected as a new vice-chairman of SSS.
The Dean of ISEC Atom Mkhitaryan and Head of Public Relations and Career Department Lilit Adamyan congratulated the newly elected members of the Student Council and the Student Scientific Society, expressing their support for their successful work.
