Research in the Field of Tourism in Kotayk Region

On June 4, 2016, the Master students of «Tourism Management» department of the International Scientific-Educational Center of NAS RA headed by Associate Professor Z. Hayryan conducted research in the field of tourism in Kotayk region.
The students got acquainted with the tourism resources of Abovyan town, visited the hotel «Pharaoh», where Z. Hayryan delivered lectures presenting the work of the major departments of the hotel. The hotel staff together with Z. Hayryan acquainted the Master students with the functional duties of the administrative body, as well. Further the students continued their research in Tsaghkadzor, in the hotels «Russia», «Tsaghkadzor Marriott» and «Multi House» for the purpose of getting acquainted with major and additional hotel services.
As a result of the conducted research the students carried out analysis on tourism infrastructures of Kotayk region indicating both the negative and positive aspects and the development prospects of the main types of tourism in the region.
