An Overview of the 2023 works Introduced at the Scientific Council

Under the authority of Armen Sargsyan, the Director of the International Scientific-Educational Center of NAS RA, a meeting of the Scientific Council was convened on December 7. The main item on the agenda was the presentation of the annual reports for the work completed by each ISEC Department in 2023.

The meeting was attended by the ISEC Scientific Council members, department heads, staff and the chairpersons of the Student Council and the Student Scientific Society.

In his introductory remarks, Director A. Sargsyan outlined the primary achievements of ISEC for the reporting year. The department heads then gave a thorough presentation of the work completed, highlighting the significant outcomes. Among a number of recorded accomplishments, a reference was made to the internationalization process of ISEC. It has registered a significant increase both in terms of partner organizations and international mobility, as well as remarkable educational opportunities from recently opened chairs and master's programs that address the industry's current technological challenges and labor market demands.

Additionally, emphasis was made on the development and maintenance of laboratories outfitted with cutting-edge equipment and digital infrastructures, which will function as crucial research platforms for the execution of numerous scientific projects and the efficient management of the teaching and learning process. The ISEC's scientific and educational activity yielded significant results, with a particular emphasis on joint project implementation and expanding relationships with RA and international partners.

At the end of the meeting, the Scientific Council members approved the summary reports of each department, as well as discussed a number of issues and ideas meant to address departmental challenges and enhance the upcoming year's operations.
