Remote defense of master's theses of the Chair of Linguistics of ISEC NAS RA

The graduate students of the Chair of Linguistics of the ISEC NAS RA successfully defended their master's theses today, being awarded the degree of Master of General and Armenian Linguistics.
Even though the studies were in the offline format, due to the state of emergency in the country, the defense was organized in a remote format on the remote platform of the International Scientific Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences, https://vle.sci.am/. It should be noted that, thanks to the Information Technology Department of the ISEC, this remote platform is quite multifunctional, has a wide range of tools, and all the conditions are created to completely replace the offline format. The participants of the defense and the members of the commission had the opportunity to get acquainted with the theses, the slides prepared by the students, the opinions of the supervisors and the reviewers of the students both during the platform meeting and before the video meeting. In addition, the evaluation of the commission was carried out directly in the relevant section of the platform, ensuring the objectivity and reliability of the remote format.
