Public Discussions Around Distance Learning in ISEC NAS RA

Within the framework of the RA Ministry of Education and Science “Center for Education Projects”, the second loan programme of “Education Quality Assurance and Relevance” funded by the “Armenia Higher Education Competitive Innovation Fund”, ISEC NAS RA has launched distance learning courses for the large mass of population. As a result, on January 29th there was organized a seminar aimed at discussing the past courses in a newly opened video conference room.
Albert Sargsyan, ISEC director greeted the seminar participants and said thank you words to the distance learning project staff and teachers who took an active part in the successful development and implementation of the distance learning courses.
Arusyak Harutyunyan, the head of ISEC NAS RA Foreign Affairs Department, spoke about the current state of the distance learning courses, introduced the project’s achievements and overall success as well as talked about the possible international perspectives of the project.
During the meeting participants actively discussed the most efficient ways of the distance course development, successful contents of the courses, students’ participation and their final survey results.
