Visit of NAS RA Presidium Officials to ISEC Video Conference Hall

Within the framework of the RA Ministry of Education and Science “Center for Education Projects”, the second loan programme of “Education Quality Assurance and Relevance” funded by the “Armenia Higher Education Competitive Innovation Fund”, there was organized a final seminar on distance learning in the ISEC NAS RA video conference room which was hosted by the high rank officials of NAS RA Presidium headed by the NAS RA President, academician Radik Martirosyan.
During the meeting, ISEC NAS RA director Albert Sargsyan first introduced the activities of the International Scientific Educational Center, the main acquirements and achievements so far and then talked about the implementation and results of the distance learning project.
Armen Sargsyan, the head of ISEC NAS RA Information Technology department, demonstrated the audience technical aspects of teaching and conducting seminars and conferences in on - line mode, involving the best practices of renowned specialists in the field from the famous foreign research and education centers.
Arusyak Harutyunyan, the head of ISEC NAS RA Foreign Affairs Department, introduced the guests distance learning platform and the structure of the distance learning courses; she also presented the results of final survey, particularly students’ opinion and their recommendations/suggestions concerning distance learning courses.
NAS RA president and the presidium officials highly appreciated the efforts, opportunity and work done by the ISEC in the distance learning promotion.
