Representatives of the Center's teaching staff participated in two-week training course

From April 23 to May 7, the representatives of the teaching staff of the International Scientific-Educational Center of NAS RA: Scientific Secretary of the Center, Associate Professor, Mary Sargsyan, Head of the Department of Pharmacology, Ph.D. Suzanna Tosunyan, Lecturer at the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology, Ph.D. Gohar Tsakanova, Lecturer at the Department of Informatics and Computer Engineering, Ph.D. Sergey Abrahamyan participated in a two-week training course with both in–person and online interaction.
The training was developed by the Foundation for Science and Technology of Armenia (FAST) and implemented within the framework of the British Council's "Creative Thinking" initiative (SciNova). The project partner was Aston University in the UK.
The course consisted of three modules:
● "Research Methodology"
● "Commercialization of scientific innovations"
● "Teaching Methodology".
The expected results of the training course was:
● To equip students of RA universities with modern scientific research skills;
● To develop the ability of transformation of research results into innovations;
● To reshape the attitude of the youth towards science and show the practical significance and tangible benefits of science.
