January 30, 2025
The Scientific-Educational International Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia recently launched a new initiative. Within a memorandum signed with the Komitas Cultural Palace in Vagharshapat, an educational pilot project titled "Soft Skills Laboratory: Youth from Artsakh for Youth in the Regions" was implemented.
The Department of Foreign Languages of the Center, within the framework of the EU4Dialogue initiative funded by the European Union and coordinated by DAAD Georgia, launched the project "Professional and Soft Skills Development for the Displaced Armenians" in December. The project allowed young adults who successfully completed it to present the knowledge and skills they had acquired to their peers in the regions.
Under the guidance of the program's training coordinator, Karolina Sahakyan, the participants visited the Komitas Cultural Palace in Vagharshapat. They presented materials they had prepared on critical thinking, time management, communication skills, and interview strategies. These presentations were supplemented with their personal experiences, interactive games, and videos.
The event, held within the framework of the one-day program, was attended by 25 young people aged 13-20 from various educational and cultural institutions of Echmiadzin, who were actively involved in the course, expecting that such events will be continuous.
