March 13, 2025

On 11th March, 2025, a group of students from the International Scientific-Educational Center of the NAS RA visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia. The visit was initiated and organized by the Department of Public Relations and Career of  ISEC NAS RA.

"This visit is one of the events aimed at stimulating the career growth of ISEC students, another manifesto of a series of "Work orientation visits." This series of visits is designed to create a supportive environment so that undergraduates, armed with the necessary information about the work environment, can effectively build their careers. After these visits, the students, at their request and through the mediation of the ISEC, are given the opportunity to complete an internship at this institution.",- says Heghine Melkonyan, Head of the Department of Public Relations and Career at the ISEC NAS RA, who accompanied the undergraduates.

The next work orientation visit was organized on the occasion of the Diplomat's Day in Armenia, so it is no coincidence that the visiting group included students of the ISEC professional programs in International Relations, Oriental Studies, and Jurisprudence.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia readily met the desire of the Master’s students of the ISEC to visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs RA, organizing a reception full of interesting and useful information for building a career, developed according to a special program and organized by young diplomats.

The group of visitors toured various departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building, familiarizing themselves with the structure of the building and the location of the units, the Diplomatic School of Armenia, the reading room and the library.

The tour was followed by an interactive information meeting organized in the library, dedicated to the specifics of diplomatic activity, as well as protocol, functional and a number of other issues of the MFA system. The meeting ended with questions and answers, having exhausted the range of questions that the group was interested in.
