Internal Monitoring of Educational Programs at the Departments of the ISEC NAS RA

Since the beginning of the 2024-2025 academic year, the International Scientific-Educational Center of the NAS RA has begun the process of internal monitoring of educational programs of departments, in accordance with the "Procedure for periodic control (monitoring) and review of educational programs of the International Scientific-Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia".

It is conducted by a monitoring group, which includes members of the administrative and teaching staff of the ISEC, as well as external experts. The monitoring group from ISEC includes Deputy Director on Educational Affairs Y. Zargaryan, Dean A. Mkhitaryan, Head of the Department of Quality Assurance of Education N. Vardanyan, senior specialist of the Dean's Office J. Sevyan, head of the relevant department, representatives of the lecturers and professorial staff.

The purpose of the monitoring is an internal audit of the Center's professional educational programs based on the work carried out over the past three years and the vision of the planned improvement.

Already 6 ISEC departments have undergone internal monitoring: Linguistics, Oriental Studies, Geology, History, Political Science and International Relations, Computer Science and Engineering, Aerospace Engineering.

All departments own reglamentation, accompanied by improvement measures. Monitoring reports with relevant notes and recommendations will be transmitted by the coworkers of the Quality Assurance Department to organize further the process of supporting departments and improving the quality of education conducted at ISEC.
