Armenian President Awarded International Scientific-Educational Center of NAS RA Director Albert Sargsyan Movses Khorenatsi Medal

A number of pioneers in science and education received high state rewards in the frames of 70th anniversary of National Academy of Sciences of RA, among them Director of International Scientific-Educational Center of NAS RA Albert Sargsyan, Dr. in Physical and Mathematical Sciences, was awarded a Movses Khorenatsi medal.
Albert Sargysan has an essential contribution in the education of scientific brainpower and recruiting the academic system with high-quality professionals. Since 2004 with Albert Sargysan’s efforts and initiative Master’s degree programs have been launched at International Scientific-Educational Center of NAS RA for the target use of research, science and technology potential of the academic system, preparation of qualified personnel and replenishing the academic system with high-quality personnel.
Due to Sargsyan’s experienced management and persistent efforts the International Scientific-Educational Center of HAS RA has turned into an authoritative institution for higher education, where the education is carried out with over 20 Master’s degree programs with up-to-date equipment and laboratories promoting high-quality education. Albert Sargsyan’s efforts directed at expanding international ties at the Center resulted in the drastic increase in the number of foreign Master and PhD students.
Albert Sargsyan’s activities in research and science are also very effective he is one of the renowned specialists in physics. His research interests include semiconductor physics, photoelectrochemical solar energy conversion and high-temperature superconductivity.
