An Overview of Student Self-Government Bodies’ Activities for the 2022–2023 Academic Year

On December 5, at the initiative of the ISEC NAS RA Public Relations and Career Department, the head of the department, Lilit Adamyan, met with the members of the Student Scientific Society and the Student Council to summarize the previous year’s activities of the student self-government bodies and to discuss upcoming projects.

Concerns about supporting student initiatives in the scientific and research areas, such as those involving students in diverse scientific programs, motivating talented students, holding conferences and seminars, planning entertainment events, and other matters, were considered upon during the meeting.

A number of proposals were developed by the Student Scientific Society and Student Council representatives to encourage student involvement in the processes of implementing the ISEC mission and goals, which will be implemented soon.

Lilit Adamyan, the head of the ISEC NAS RA Public Relations and Career Department, stressed the importance of concentrating on the activities outlined in the ISEC improvement plan. These activities should aim to disseminate the best practices in management and administration among the ISEC student self-government bodies, arrange focus groups with various stakeholders, and increase the number of students self-government bodies by encouraging them to take initiative and contribute to the organization's overall dynamic progress.

Following the meeting, Armen Yeghoyan, the head of ISEC NAS RA Information Technology Department, provide students advice on how to use the platform for distance learning, as well as technical issues, material installation, and implementation. He emphasized the significance of student self-government bodies' activities in facilitating students' effective integration into the educational process.
