Meeting with Mane Tandilyan

Emphasizing the importance of modern education-labor market in Armenia, the current situation of demand formation in the labor market, graduating students issues in a new workplace, on November 17, on International Students' Day, RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Mane Tandilyan met with the students of the ISEC NAS RA. The meeting was organized by the Alumni and Career Development Department of the ISEC NAS RA.
Congratulating the students, the Minister mentioned that youth and students are the present in our country and their role in building a state is immense. During the meeting meeting, she talked about the unemployment, the demand and supply of corresponding specialists in Armenia, which are incompatible.
The Minister asked all students to continually improve their professions and not to be afraid of doing volunteer work, which can serve as an example of best practice. The topic of education was also discussed. According to Mane Tandilian, knowledge should always be up-to-date, in line with the labor market demand.
At the end of the meeting, Head of the Alumni and Career Development Department of the ISEC NAS RA, A. Shahazizyan thanked the Minister for her visit, presenting her some examples of famous science magazine "Science World" and other initiatives on the 75^th anniversary of the NAS RA and the ISEC’s 20^th anniversary. She promised that such meetings will be continued.
