Meeting with lecturers of the University of Naples Federico II (Italy)

Erasmus + Lecture: "The Changing Scenario of Political Communication"

Within the framework of Erasmus + International Credit Mobility Program, two professors from the University of Naples Federico II (Italy),  Rosanna de Rosa and Fabio Carbisiero from September 14 to 16  are paying a visit to the International scientific -educational center. The purpose of the visit is to give public lectures to the student community, to get acquainted with ISEC staff, to study the structure and activities of ISEC.

On the first day of the visit, there was organized a  meeting with the  Director of  ISEC. During the meeting the following points were outlined: to strengthen the collaboration between ISEC and the University of Naples Federico II, to seek the ways for doing joint projects, also the prospects of further cooperation and new initiatives were proposed and disscused.

Later on professor Rosanna de Rosa delivered a lecture for a number of students on "The Changing Scenario of Political Communication".

The lecture is focused on the transition processes of political communication systems around the world and the role of social media in the current global political system as an important actor and mediator. The process of media pervasiveness into the society as a whole, particularly in politics, has been defined as the process of mediatization.
