Meeting of ISEC students with business entrepreneur Bakur Melkonyan at the "Crossroads of Education and Business"

On November 16, at the initiative of the Public Relations and Career Department of International Scientific-Educational Centre of National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, at the "Crossroads of Education and Business" a meeting was held with Bakur Melkonyan, a talented business entrepreneur and a founder of "Art Lunch" and other business ventures.

The event was attended both by the students of ISEC NAS RA and other universities of the Republic of Armenia.

Lilit Adamyan, the head of the Public Relations and Career Department of ISEC NAS RA, made an opening speech and expressed her gratitude to Bakur Melkonyan for his openness and willingness to cooperate for the sake of productive integration of business and academic roles. "It is extremely important nowadays to frequently schedule meetings for students with business entrepreneurs, due to which they receive an opportunity to get valuable advice in the field of business directly from a businessman, as well as to learn about key indicators and requirements of current labor market", noted Lilit Adamyan.

For the event participants Bakur Melkonyan conducted a master class, in the framework of which he delivered his success story of "Art Lunch" foundation, told about the path full of successes and difficulties, highlighted different features of business startups and initiated ventures, sincerely shared the secrets of various business ideas transformation in real life, then referred to the requirements and factors for starting a business in Armenia and the necessary qualities of a business entrepreneur.

According to Bakur Melkonyan, a future businessman should first of all love what he wants to do, and secondly, he should always adhere to his principles and be guided by the values combination of his business with the personal value system.

The meeting was successfully concluded with an active question-and-answer session with the participants and an exchange of ideas on education and business challenges.

At the end of the meeting, Lilit Adamyan, the head of the Public Relations and Career Department of ISEC NAS RA, thanked all the participants for fruitful discussion, and a cooperation agreement was reached with Bakur Melkonyan on the organization of student internships.
