An ISEC student Avet Galstyan has got the opportunity to work at NAS RA Institute of Geological Sciences

Galstyan Avet, a future research scientist, is a 1st-year Master’s student of the Department of Geology of the International Scientific-Educational Center of NAS RA.
Becoming a geologist was not a cause for dream concern of Avet, meanwhile, quite by chance he turned out to appear at the Faculty of Geology. Initially, having no intention to stay in this sphere, however, due to practical and productive research work, Avet's final choice stopped at the profession of geologist, aiming to make new discoveries and learn more about the surrounding world.
Due to his determination and diligence, Avet has got the opportunity to work along with his studies in the Volcanology Department of the NAS RA Institute of Geological Sciences as an engineering geologist.
Avet encourages all the curious young people to study Geology at the NAS RA Department of Geology, since geoscientists follow paths of exploration and discovery in quest of solutions to some of society's most challenging problems, besides, geology leads to understanding the root causes of natural disasters and mitigating the risks.
