The Student Council of the ISEC participated in the "New Generation 2021" jubilee conference

The "New Generation 2021" jubilee conference of the "Rossotrudnichestvo" program was held at the Congress Hotel in Yerevan on December 13-14, 2021 by the decree of the President of the Russian Federation of October 19, 2011. Each of the RA institutions' student governments presented young initiatives as part of the event. Representatives from RA state structures and businesspeople attended the meeting. Since the program's inception, more than 350 Armenian young leaders have been to Russia to create long-term partnerships with Russian governmental and non-governmental organizations, as well as youth and non-governmental organizations.

The official opening of the conference was attended by high-ranking officials, who emphasized the importance of the conference. Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin, in his turn, stressed that the conference is a very good opportunity to unite the representatives of the active Armenian youth who have participated in the "New Generation" program. "The important advice of all this, of course, is the establishment of stable, local business-human contacts between the youth of our countries," the diplomat noted.

The RA Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Karen Trchunyan mentioned in his speech that the conference is a unique opportunity for the Armenian youth. According to him, this platform promotes the establishment of relations between "potential employers" of universities, the realization of their long-term expectations, as well as the application of knowledge and skills acquired during training.

RA Deputy Minister of High Technological Industry Davit Sahakyan was also present at the official opening of the conference, who, congratulating the 10th jubilee conference, used the work done within the framework of this program.

The president of the ISEC NAS RA Student Council T. Kirakosyan, Vice President A. Sargsyan and Secretary G. Hovhannisyan also took part in the conference, presenting the "Post-War Tourism in Armenia" project, which was a detailed study of the number of tourists who visited Armenia in the post-war period. They also presented a start-up project, according to which it will be possible to discover unknown tourist places in Armenia, to develop tourism relations among young Armenian-Russian tourists.
