New Master's Program at ISEC NAS RA - Geology

The Department of Geology of International Scientific-Educational
Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia announces admission to master’s degree programme for 2013-2014 in the field of “Geology”.
Students during their specialized studies are expected to acquire fundamental knowledge in different fields of geological science – active tectonics, geological threats, seismology, seismic risk evaluation, volcanology and volcanic risk evaluation, geochemistry, natural resources and their prospecting, petrology, petrography as well as GIS and other directions.
Highly qualified specialists will deliver lectures on related geology disciplines which are used during geological research.
Syllabus of the master’s degree programme includes both basic lectures delivered by highly qualified specialists, practical studies as well as field works.
