From June 20 to June 27, 2014, four employees of ISEC NAS RA under the guidance of ISEC NAS RA Director Albert Sargsyan, within the sub-component “Grants to Higher Education Institutions for Improvement of IQA System” of the second credit program “Education Quality and Compliance” were at Charles University, Prague, in order to study the experience of education quality assurance. Returning to Armenia, on the initiative of the QA Department, they organized a few meetings and discussions at ISEC NAS RA introducing and transferring the newly acquired experience and skills to the academic and administrative staff.
During the meetings and discussions head of the Law Department Simon Babayan introduced the legislative field regulating Czech educational system and told about the laws and regulations observed during the discussions.
Chief specialist of QA Department Gohar Grigoryan worked out a unanimous format for teaching foreign languages, based on the newly acquired experience and introduced it to the Chair of Foreign Languages, which was discussed and reprocessed by the chair lecturers at the meeting.
Head of the QA Department Narine Vardanyan at the meeting with the academic staff spoke about the training format, description of educational programs, curricula development process at Charles University, etc.
