The Department of Foreign Languages joined the Conference of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics

On April 19, the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics hosted an international scientific and practical conference on "Language education in the context of the modernization of humanitarian knowledge," which was attended by the lecturers from the Department of Foreign Languages at the International Scientific-Educational Center of NAS RA, under the guidance of the Head of the Department, Associate Professor, Gohar Grigoryan.
During the plenary session, G. Grigoryan greeted the attendees and stressed in her speech the importance of linguistic education for language development and preservation as well as for guaranteeing the incorporation of cultural heritage and traditional knowledge into contemporary humanitarian practice. G. Grigoryan stated, "The rich knowledge and experience of indigenous peoples is contributing to the improvement of the humanities. We enable people of different linguistic backgrounds to fully participate in the process of sharing knowledge and ideas by promoting multilingualism and digital literacy".
Presentations on "Teaching strategy based on students' learning style," "Emotional intelligence in language learning," and "Formation of scientific and humanitarian mindset of a modern student" were made by department lecturers Lilit Manvelyan, Hasmik Adamyan, and Susanna Nanyan.
