Focus Group Discussion Among Students at "Environmental Protection and Nature Management" Master’s Degree Program at ISEC NAS RA

The Department of Education Quality Assurance of the International Scientific-Educational Center of NAS RA organized a focus group discussion among the students studying with "Environmental Protection and Nature Management" Master’s degree program. The discussion took place with 5 students studying in 2018-2020 academic years. The main purpose of the discussion was to reveal the students' satisfaction with the "Environmental Protection and Nature Management" Master’s degree program. For this purpose, in accordance with the pre-prepared guidelines, the following points were emphasized during the discussion:
- Reasons for admission to ISEC NAS RA
- Student expectations before admission
- Realized and unfulfilled expectations, their causes
- Strengths of the curriculum
- Weaknesses of the curriculum
- The most important professional subjects
- Less important professional subjects
- Knowledge, skills and abilities acquired during the learning process
- Student suggestions for solving existing problems
