Department for Environmental Protection and Nature Management: New Collaboration

The Department for Environmental Protection and Nature Management at International Sci­entific-Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Republic of Armenia (ISEC) and Center for Ecological-Noosphere Studies of the National Academy of Sci­ences of Armenia (Armenia), represented by Director and Head of Department Dr. Lilit Sahakyan and the University of Pavia (Italy), represented by the Rector Prof. Francesco Svelto signed an agreement of collaboration:

IN VIEW OF

-   the mutual institutional interest in facilitat­ing and encouraging co-operation and educa­tional, scientific and technical exchanges on an international level;

-   both Institutions pursue the same aims in the fields of research, training and the spreading of culture;

-   the above mentioned Institutions have a mutual interest in creating and developing in­ternational co-operation agreements;

FIELDS OF COOPERATION

The contracting parties intend to collaborate in all fields of mutual interest using the re­sources available and experience acquired, by means of:

a)   exchange of academic and research staff for lectures, seminars, lessons, congresses, joint research programmes, training courses, participation in degree and dissertation com­missions;

b)   exchange of postgraduate students for courses of advanced study, seminars, re­search required to complete dissertations and theses;

c)   exchange of students participating in inten­sive or integrated studies (e.g. Double De­gree);

d) exchange of publications, scientific infor­mation and materials relevant to the specific fields covered by this agreement and any other matter deemed to be of mutual benefit.
