The delegation of the NAS RA participated in the conference for young scientists of the CIS countries in Nizhny Novgorod

On November 1-4, at the National Research University named after Lobachevsky in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, a conference of young scientists of the CIS countries was held under the title "Science Without Borders". 384 young scientists from CIS member states participated in the conference. During the four-day conference, around 250 reports were presented in nine sections.

A delegation consisting of 20 young scientists from the RA National Academy of Sciences participated in the conference from the Republic of Armenia, which included the Scientific Secretary of ISEC NAS RA, Ph.D., Associate Professor Mary Sargsyan from the International Scientific-Educational Center of the NAS RA.

M. Sargsyan presented a report on "Possibilities for the development of linguistic disciplines in the era of digital technologies" in the "Preserving Heritage" section. In her report, M.Sargsyan referred to the changes in the linguistic scientific paradigm in the era of digital technologies, noting the positive and negative aspects of these changes, highlighted the features and development trends of digital linguistics both worldwide and in the CIS countries, indicated the shifts in the system of linguistic disciplines, as well as the transformations of disciplines and development prospects.

Close partnership relations have been formed between the participating-members of the CIS states, and new cooperation agreements have been reached.
