Cognitive- educational camp trip
September 30, 2021The ISEC's Student Council, Career and Public Relations Department launched another cognitive-educational camping trip in the Tavush region. The first destination was the Varagavank monastery complex, built in the 12th century and nestled in the lap of Tavush's wonderful nature. It was the heart of the Vahramyans' strong authority. The students learned fascinating things and participated in numerous discussions about the monastery's history. The group next proceeded to the 13th-century Jukhtak Monastery, which contains two churches, as its name suggests. After enjoying the natural marvels of Tavush, we went to the Dilijan Wood Museum, where wooden handicrafts were on exhibit, which awed all of the participants.
The hikers enjoyed a full unforgettable day. The participants were joined by historian Harutyun Khudanyan, an employee of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia's Institute of History. He provided important, interesting information and historical details about Tavush and its attractions throughout the camping trip.
The students returned from the camp with wonderful memories and chose to embark on a new adventure in one of Armenia's provinces.
