The third law school, dubbed "Let's Be Aware and Protected," opened its doors
September 23, 2021The 3rd Law School, headlined "Let's Be Aware and Protected," was started on September 17 organized by the Law ISEC NAS RA Chair of and SC and Public Relations and Career Department. It will run until October 3.
The school's courses, taught by the top experts and lecturers in the field of law from both inside and outside Armenia, will help raise legal awareness in the community, as well as the acquisition of basic legal knowledge and the development of theoretical and practical skills.
Participants will receive participation certificates at the end of the course. To be eligible for certificates, participants must have an average of 80% participation.
The courses have the following directions:
- Human rights
- The case law of the European Court
- Inheritance law
- Banking law
- Criminal protection of people and criminal cases
- Intellectual property
- Legal skills (legal equipment and legal correspondence)
- Contract law
- International law
Taron Simonyan, Associate Professor of the YSU Chair of History,State and Law Theory, delivered a lecture on the first lesson. At the beginning of the meeting T. Simonyan welcomed all the students and organizers of the school, Simonyan used his knowledge of law and thanked for the invitation and cooperation offer.
The international legal frameworks for the preservation of national interests, the issue of Armenian Genocide recognition, the Artsakh issue, the challenges faced by the Republic of Armenia, and the means to overcome them were all discussed during the presentation.
It should be emphasized that all of the courses are open to patients from all backgrounds of life and are offered completely free of charge. A total of 116 people applied to be a part of the project.
