Armenian-Swedish Contact Seminar

On 13-14 October, 2016 Swedish Council for Higher Education and National Erasmus+ Office in Armenia organised the 2nd Swedish-Armenian contact seminar with Armenian higher education institutions which was focused on bilateral and international cooperation within Erasmus+, as well as Swedish Linnaeus-Palme and Visby programmes. The participants of the seminar had a good opportunity to meet new potential partners and build up a good contact network for future collaboration. First detailed reports on the Swedish and Armenian educational systems were made, coordinating bodies and ways of development. The seminar, however, mainly consists of discussions to make the cooperation most visible and tangible.
Swedish colleagues were invited to visit several Armenian universities: Mr. Federico Gómez, Director of Master’s program on Food technology and Nutrition at Lund University visited the Chair of Environmental Protection and Nature Management of ISEC NAS RA located at the Center for Ecological Noosphere Studies of NAS RA, where they discussed further cooperation, particularly capacity building in food safety.
