Acting Director of the Academy of Sciences of the RA NAS A. Sargsyan's welcoming speech to the participants of the conference- school "Armenia of the Future"

Dear guests, participants, young people...

I cordially greet and thank you for taking part in the "Armenia of the Future" conference-school hosted by the International Scientific-Educational Center of the RA National Academy of Sciences.

The International Scientific-Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia was established in 1997. One of the main missions of the Center since its establishment is the integration of education and science in our country, the replenishment of the academic system with young, qualified specialists.

With limited natural resources, the advancement of science is essential to the growth of our country, and we hope that the young researchers who are taking their first steps in the field of science, with their opinions, ideas and recommendations, can contribute to the establishment of this conference-school. In this sense, the organisation of such activities is very significant, and offers an opportunity to put together young researchers interested in science, to build an environment for their discourse, etc.

The "Armenia of the Future" conference-school brought together not only novice researchers, PhD students, master students, but also well-known and experienced experts in the field of science, who will deliver public lectures in the second part of the conference, passing on their knowledge and skills to our youth.

The Center has always supported and will continue to support the implementation of all the initiatives that aim to stimulate interest in science, to appreciate the work and reputation of the young scientist and researcher.

I wish the conference-school a successful and effective process.
