30th of May was an outstanding day-a day of respect and remembrance in the Scientific-Educational Center of the NAS RA

With the participation of the undergraduate students an event was organized in commemoration of the eminent Armenian poet Paruyr Sevak. On the 17th of June it will be 40 years since the great poet died. The poet passed away premature, but left titanic literary-philological inheritance. On the 30th of May undergraduates of different specialties introduced some of the well-known work of the great poet, read some lines and recollections of the life and activities of great Sevak.
Academician of the NAS RA Aram Shahinyan, director of the International Scientific-Educational Center of the NAS RA Albert Sargsyan, director of the Fundamental Scientific Library of the NAS RA Tigran Zargaryan, director of the Paruyr Sevak house-museum Avetik Grigoryan, father Komitas, folk songstress Gayane Nersisyan, well-known reciter Nune Avetisyan, several lecturers, students and guests were present at the event.
The day was filled with Sevak, his thoughts, mediation and emotions. Inspired with the recitation and enthusiasm of the students the guests also uttered their weighty word to the students and participants. And the director of the Paruyr Sevak house-museum invited everybody to the bell tower so as to repeat the event there.
