The Department of Environmental Protection and Nature Management of the ISEC NAS RA will open a modern educational and research laboratory

At the Department of Environmental Protection and Nature Management of the ISEC NAS RA will open a modern educational and research laboratory. The laboratory will be opened with the support of Erasmus + Office of the European Union within the framework of the Capacity Building Program implemented by the ISEC NAS RA and the Ecological Research Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia.
"The program assumes that experimental theses will be of great importance in contemporary graduate and PhD education. We will receive such expensive equipment within the framework of this program, which is not available in the Republic of Armenia at all. Additionally special chromatographs will be obtained, which will allow to test different types of pesticides and fungi, "said David Pipoyan, lecturer Department of Environmental Protection and Nature Management of the ISEC NAS RA. According to him, this equipment will provide an opportunity to understand dust and water safety indicators.
New modules for environmental education will be developed. "For example, Armenia has a nuclear power station, but does not have radio-ecological protection. A modern radio-ecological protection module will be developed in line with European and international standards, "said David Pipoyan.
