Professor from University of Bologna Giuseppe Cecere Delivering Lectures in Armenia

On June 19, 2019 the Institute of Oriental Studies of NAS RA hosted Giuseppe Checheeri, Professor of Bologna University within the framework of the Erasmus + Credit Mobilty program. The Italian specialist is in Armenia within the framework of the agreement signed between the Chair of Oriental Studies of the ISEC NAS RA and the Faculty of History and Cultures of Bologna University.
Giuseppe Chechere will deliver lectures in Institute of Oriental Studies of NAS RA and in Matenadaran.
The first lecture was held in Institute of Oriental Studies of NAS RA on June 19. The topic of the lecture was "Sufis and Worship in Islam on the Example of Modern Egypt." This lecture caused great interest not only among oriental specialists, but also among the students of ISEC. After the lecture, numerous questions were asked, which resulted in an interesting discussion.
The next lecture is scheduled on June 25 at 14:00 in Institute of Oriental Studies of NAS RA, 11th floor.
