Master's Educational Program "Education Management" at the ISEC NAS RA Underwent Internal Monitoring

On 26th March, 2025, as part of the ongoing process of internal monitoring of departments at the ISEC of the NAS RA, an internal monitoring of the Master's program "Education Management" at the Department of Pedagogy of the ISEC NAS RA was conducted. The assessment was carried out by the internal monitoring group with the participation of an external expert.

The educational program, which started in 2021, has achieved significant successes, as reflected in the speech and presentation of the Dean of the ISEC, Atom Mkhitaryan.

One of the strengths of the department is its faculty, which consists exclusively of professors with academic degrees, representing various scientific fields, thus ensuring important professional diversity for the field of education management. The program structure was presented with the distribution of credits: the program consists of three parts – pedagogical, managerial, and leadership. The employment prospects offered by the program and the steps taken for their successful realization were also discussed.

The data presented showed that the Master's program "Education Management" at the ISEC NAS RA combines academic knowledge in pedagogy with modern experience and tools in the field of management and education organization, providing graduates with excellent opportunities for a confident entry into management at various levels of education, as well as for conducting research and making new contributions to science.

In response to the experts' questions, the head of the department, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Hayk Petrosyan, provided a detailed overview of the department's educational policy, methods for identifying problems, and ways to address them.

The documents of the educational program were also reviewed.

The members of the monitoring group conducted an active and constructive discussion. The impressions received were positive, with some remarks recorded, which will be discussed at the upcoming meeting of the Pedagogy Department of the ISEC NAS RA.
