NAS RA Promotes Cooperation between 8 French Scientific-Educational Institutions

On June 23, 2017, a meeting was held at the National Academy of Sciences of the RA (NAS RA) with participation of the NAS RA President and Academician Radik Martirosyan, NAS RA Vice-President and Academician Yuri Shukuryan, the Director of the International Scientific-Educational Center of the NAS RA Albert Sargsyan, International Department Head Gagik Evoyan and the Rector of the French University of Armenia Jean-Marc Lavest. During the meeting the upcoming activities were discussed within the frames of the cooperation agreement signed between the NAS RA and 8 French Scientific-Educational institutions.
As a result of the meeting it’s planned to promote relations in academic and research exchange area, to develop teaching and joint research potential in the field of research data analysis and computer science, to introduce a Licence/Bachelor’s degree program in the area of “Applied Mathematics, Statistics and Informatics” within the frames of the academic program of the French University of Armenia.
