ISEC Delegation at Tuscia University

In the frames of Erasmus+ KA107 Credit Mobility Project implemented between ISEC NAS RA and University of Tuscia ISEC Delegation has paid a visit to the University of Tuscia, Italy, since 22 May. The first destination of the visit was DIBAF (Department of Innovation in Biological Systems, Food and Forestry), where they were hosted at the administrative office of the department and learned about the functions of the department and learning organization forms. The department has been formed as a result of reformation of agricultural and natural science faculties and it's currently autonomous in the organization of Bachelor and Master's degree programs.
Afterwards, they visited Big Center of Equipment, where they learned about environmental pollution analysis procedures, particularly laboratory of liquid chromatography – up-to-date methods of analyzing remaining materials in food, laboratory of genetics, molecular and cellular biology to learn more about modern methods of detecting genetic mutations, and the last stop was at the newly formed interdisciplinary laboratory of food science, where a part of the lab is for production, while the other part is designed for the chemical analysis of food.
