A New Memorandum of Cooperation within the AFISHE Program

On December 6, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the International Scientific- Educational Center of NAS RA and "Sevani Ishkhan" CJSC to implement joint educational and research activities in the fields of aquaculture and fishery within the framework of the AFISHE program.
It should be noted that "Sevani Ishkhan" CJSC carries out the work activities related to the production of Sevan trout fry, fish processing, marketing and sale of finished products in Armenia and abroad. Additionally, the company handles every aspect of processing and selling Armenian-bred rainbow trout and sturgeon fish.
The joint cooperation also aims to strengthen university-enterprise cooperation, facilitating the implementation of scientific research and ecology-based activities and boost the productivity of aquaculture and fishery.
The partnership with "Sevani Ishkhan" CJSC will also serve as an effective platform for the execution of research and industrial practice for Master’s students in Aquaculture and Fishery, development and improvement of curricula and master's program outputs that will meet the labor market and modern society requirements.
