About Us
The Student Scientific Society (hereinafter referred to as the SSS) of the International Scientific-Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia (hereinafter referred to as the Center) is a voluntary academic association of the Center's students: master's students, degree-seeking researchers, and PhD students.
The SSS carries out its activities guided by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia, the Charter of the Center, and the Charter of the SSS.
The goals and objectives of the SSS activities are as follows:
- The goal of the Center's SSS is to promote the scientific, creative, and intellectual development of the student body.
- To achieve its goals and objectives and implement long-term programs, the SSS may utilize the support of the Center.
- The main objectives and directions of the SSS activities are:
- a) Formation of an active student community interested in scientific and research activities;
- b) Support and implementation of student initiatives in the scientific and educational fields;
- c) Organization of student conferences, seminars, popular science lectures, and other scientific and educational events;
- d) Targeted utilization of the Center's young scientific potential, supporting the involvement of students in scientific groups and various scientific programs;
- e) Providing support to students, degree-seeking researchers, and PhD students while carrying out their scientific work;
- f) Organization of the publication of students' scientific works and other materials with the support of the Center's Directorate;
- g) Establishment of ties with SSSs of other universities, scientific centers, and international student organizations operating within and outside the Republic of Armenia, as well as the organization of joint scientific and other types of events.
The SSS carries out its activities based on the aforementioned goals and objectives.
The SSS of ISEC NAS RA is chaired by Anush Iskandaryan.
