Film Watching and Visit in the Institute of Geologicsl Siences of NAS RA

On March 17, the director of the Shushi Charitable Foundation, writer, publicist, painter Bakur Karapetyan, Dean of the ISEC NAS RA, Atom Mkhitaryan and Public Relations and Career Department initiated a screening of a film entitled "The Scream of the Old Church". The film is dedicated to the old church of Varazbun village of Artsakh's Kashatagh region.
The ten roots of the Artsakh problem, as well as Bakur Karapetyan's three books on the subject, were also presented to the audience. The participants were introduced to Bakur Karapetyan's paintings at the end of the event.
It should be noted that members of the YSU Ijevan Branch Student Council, as well as students from various courses in the Faculty of History, participated actively in the event.
YSU IB students had the opportunity to visit the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia's Institute of Geological Sciences and meet with Deputy Director Lilit Sahakyan. L. Sahakyan discussed the institute's research initiatives as well as other projects currently underway. The students were given the opportunity to visit for free in order to familiarize themselves with the exhibits kept in the Geological Museum of NAS RA and the history of the museum's creation.
