The Graduation Ceremony at the ISEC NAS RA
March 31, 2025
On March 28, 2025, in the hall of the International Scientific-Educational Center (ISEC) of NAS RA, diplomas were awarded to the graduates of three professional-educational programs (PEP), Jurisprudence, Master of Business Administration (Management), and Pharmacy, of the 2024-2025 academic year.
Representatives of the ISEC NAS RA administration congratulated the graduates on successful completion of their studies and wished them a motivating career path in their future endeavors.
The Director of the ISEC NAS RA, Armen Sargsyan noted in his speech: "Dear graduates, I greet you and congratulate you on this important day! Indeed, this day is significant for you, as you are completing an important stage of your life and paving a new path in your professional career.
The International Scientific-Educational Center is one of the most important organizations of the National Academy of Sciences, which coordinates the educational process of the NAS. I would like each of you to have this conviction: The National Academy of Sciences is our national treasure, as it was founded with the participation of great representatives of our nation – Viktor Hambardzumyan, Hovsep Orbeli, Manuk Abegyan, and others, who always elevated the name of our country worldwide. The ISEC is the bearer and transmitter of these values. I am confident that in your future activities, you will always proudly represent the name of our center, because your working quality also holds the reputation of our Center and its future development.
I encourage you to always stay in touch with the Center and return not only as graduates but also as partners of ours. I hope that many of you will continue your educational journey in postgraduate studies, because, as the French scientist Curie said, 'Science is necessary for a nation. A country where science does not develop inevitably becomes a colony.' And the most important resource of our country is its people – with their scientific potential and educational opportunities. I want you to also become bearers of this idea and to follow it.
I thank your lecturers, who not only imparted knowledge, skills, and abilities to you but also created an academically favorable environment for the effective organization of your studies. I am confident that in the future, you will achieve professional success, and some of you will continue your activities as teachers and scientists.
I congratulate you, wish you success, good luck in your professional and personal path. Always be confident in yourselves and move forward in all your aspirations and initiatives, contributing to the development of our republic. I congratulate you all and wish you new achievements!"
Then, the heads of the departments of Pharmaceutical Chemistry Arpine Harutyunyan, Economics and Management Karen Sargsyan, and the lecturer of the Department of Jurisprudence Lilit Kharatyan delivered their speeches. They congratulated the graduates of their departments and expressed warm wishes to them. They addressed the newly graduated master's students with advice, urging them that the academic knowledge they had received should serve the benefit of our republic and people, that they should always uphold the name of the Center with pride, and maintain constant communication with it.
A. Harutyunyan specifically urged them to always remember the noble mission of a pharmacist and the responsibility of the profession, K. Sargsyan advised them to constantly improve the knowledge they had gained to keep up with the rapidly developing sciences and technologies, and L. Kharatyan called on them to always maintain a high standard as a law master, guided by the principles of justice and humanism, to be fair, and follow the rule of law in their practice.
The farewell words of the graduates, delivered by their representatives from the courses, were mature and impressive.
On behalf of the Business Administration course, the course leader and academic achiever Hayk Tiratsvyan spoke, and in his speech, he noted: "Dear Director of the International Scientific-Educational Center, esteemed representatives of the administration, faculty members, dear masters! It is a great honor for us to be here and receive the document that confirms our knowledge and grants us the title of Master. The National Academy of Sciences has always been a symbol of the country’s knowledge to me, and during my studies, I became even more convinced of this.
The academic process was not easy. We took responsibility and faced difficult challenges, but we moved forward confidently and with clarity because we had experts, knowledgeable, experienced, and wise teachers beside us, led by the head of the department, Mr. Sargsyan. A learning environment was created where the professors were dedicated to their work, cared for us, and the overall atmosphere was warm.
Dear masters, I sincerely congratulate all of us on this achievement! May the knowledge we have gained open the way to new achievements in the name of the security of our homeland and the prosperity of the Armenian people.
In conclusion, I wish our International Scientific-Educational Center further development and prosperity. May nothing hinder the accomplishment of the great mission carried out here. God's blessings to us all!"
From the same course, Zhora Ispiryan also spoke, thanking the department and the Center's leadership for fostering team spirit, sharing valuable advice based on personal life experience, and providing comprehensive support.
On behalf of the Pharmacy course, the class leader and academic achiever Anna Hovhannisyan spoke, and she noted: "Congratulations to all of us! Allow me to express, on behalf of the graduates of the Pharmacy department, our gratitude to the entire staff of the ISEC for their warm attitude. We want to thank our faculty members for imparting knowledge to us, for their constant help and support, and also express special thanks to the head of our department and the supervisors of our thesis projects. Thank you for being there for us and supporting us in all matters."
On behalf of the Jurisprudence course, the academic achiever Silvard Tigranyan spoke, and in her speech, she noted: "Dear Director of the International Scientific-Educational Center, esteemed representatives of the faculty and administration, I thank you on behalf of our entire course for the solemn diploma ceremony and the comprehensive master's program! I would like to express special gratitude to our department head, Mr. Babayan, who, although not present here, deserves words of gratitude. I also thank all the faculty members who taught us. In addition to the knowledge and skills we acquired, there are important values we must carry with us in life, and it is important who teaches the subject and how they do it because there are names that become life mentors. These names accompany us for years. Some words spoken in a particular course become guidance for us for a lifetime. We had such lecturers. I don’t want to name specific names because there was not a single teacher whose lessons we would have approached indifferently, so I want to express special gratitude to all of them. I also thank the administration representatives and the Dean’s office staff for their warm and kind attitude.
I congratulate all of us and wish that these red and blue diplomas serve the benefit of our homeland and state because now, more than ever, our homeland needs not only knowledgeable but also value-driven new generations. Thank you!"
The words of the graduates confirmed that the high values instilled in them at the ISEC resonated, and the master's students understood their role in strengthening the Republic of Armenia.
