Staff Training Week in Italy with the Participation of the Delegation of the ISEC NAS RA
December 23, 2024From December 16 to December 20 this year, as part of the Erasmus+ program, a staff retraining week was held at the University of Tuscia in Italy with the participation of university representatives from about two dozen countries.
The team of the International Scientific-Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, headed by Director A. Sargsyan, was also among the participants. The delegation of the Center included representatives of both the administration and the teaching staff, in particular, Director Armen Sargsyan, Academic Secretary Meri Sargsyan, Head of the Quality Assurance Department Narine Vardanyan, Head of the Information Technology Department Armen Egoyan, Head of the Department of Economics and Management Karen Sargsyan, Head of the Department of Environmental Protection and Nature Management Lilit Sahakyan, a lecturer of the same department David Pipoyan.
The ISEC has a long and close history of cooperation with the University of Tuscia, which began back in 2016.
The five-day training had a fairly rich program with a presentable, experienced team of coaches and speakers. And the key topic of the international academic week content was devoted to the process of developing existing dual degree educational programs and introducing new programs.
The training week was held in a constructive environment of experience exchange, providing relevant experiences, new ideas and new opportunities for international cooperation necessary to improve the university environment. During the visit, the Center's staff also visited various departments of University of Tuscia, getting acquainted with the local experience in organizing educational and research processes, as well as reaching new agreements on cooperation on individual projects.
