Online Meeting of Department Heads at the ISEC Held

On March 26, 2026, a regular online meeting of department heads was held at the International Scientific-Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia (ISEC NAS RA). The meeting was chaired by Dean Atom Mkhitaryan, who addressed a number of organizational issues related to the Center’s academic process, as well as updates to the staffing and regulatory frameworks of student associations.

The meeting was also attended by ISEC Director Armen Sargsyan and Deputy Director on Educational Affairs Yerdjanik Zargaryan, who provided department heads with a number of current instructions and responded to the questions raised.

Taking advantage of the opportunities provided by the online format, Director A. Sargsyan presented several digital tools developed and implemented at ISEC, including electronic automated systems for academic scheduling and timetabling, as well as the “Student Portal” section currently under development. These solutions were introduced as an effective example of applying artificial intelligence capabilities within the academic environment.

Also in attendance were Head of Public Relations and Career Department Heghine Melkonyan and Head of Education Quality Assurance Department Narine Vardanyan, who shared relevant information on ongoing activities within their respective units that involve collaboration with department heads.
