Bulgarian Colleagues Delivered Lectures at the International Scientific and Educational Center of NAS RA

On March 18, 2025, the Department of Informatics and Computing at the International Scientific-Educational Center of NAS RA welcomed lecturers from the University of St. Cyril and Methodius of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. As part of an academic mobility initiative, they conducted lectures for master's students specializing in "Informatics and Computer engineering" at the center.

The head of the department, Vladimir Sahakyan, greeted the guests and emphasized the department's positive view of the tradition of exchanging experiences through international mobility initiatives. He then introduced the visiting lecturers: Milena Stefanova, Tihomir Stefanov, and Vice-Dean Miroslav Galabov, who represented the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of their university.

The series of lectures focused on scientific metric systems, discussing their various types, characteristics, and practical applications. The information was tailored to reflect the experiences documented in Bulgaria, highlighting the growth of scientific databases over time.

The master's students actively engaged in the lectures, demonstrating great interest and enthusiasm, and expressed a desire for future events of this nature.

By the way, the cooperation between the ISEC NAS RA and the University of Saints Cyril and Methodius of Veliko Tarnovo began in 2022, managing to register mobility and cooperation programs not only for the teaching staff but also for students and administrative staff.
