A Seminar Dedicated to Jungian Archetypes Was Held

April 21, 2025

On April 19, a scheduled seminar took place at the International Scientific-Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia (NAS RA), dedicated to the new interpretation of the key concept in Jungian analytical psychology – archetypes. The speaker was Aram Khachatryan, a master's student at the Department of Psychology of the ISEC NAS RA, who is already well-known to the public as an established practicing psychologist.

Recently, he published his monograph titled "Mher: Downfall and Ascension", in which he attempted to explain the path of individualization of the Small Mher through the lens of Jungian analytical psychology.

During the seminar, Aram Khachatryan also touched upon the ideas in his book, providing a detailed explanation of the presented philosophy.

The Armenian epic and Jungian analytical psychology, both of which serve as inexhaustible material for scientific debates, uniquely merged in the speech of the author and speaker Aram Khachatryan.

The seminar audience, composed of participants from various institutions and professions, showed great interest in the topic, which was reflected in an engaging discussion and a Q&A session.

The International Scientific-Educational Center of NAS RA proudly congratulates Aram Khachatryan on the publication of his monograph "Mher: Downfall and Ascension" and wishes him further success in his professional journey.
