Master Classes in the Russian Federation

From 6 to 12, June, 2016, the Master students of the department “Tourism Management” of the International Scientific-Educational Center of NAS RA headed by Associate Professor Z. G. Hayryan attended master classes in the Russian Federation at the invitation of the Russian State University of Tourism and Services Studies for practical and research purposes.
Lectures on tour operating and hotel industry were delivered by the best professors of the chair “Tourism”, among them - V.I. Bushueva (the Dean), Yu. M. Lagunin and others. The students got acquainted with the tourism infrastructures and hotel enterprises of Moscow, as well as with the domestic tourism market of the Russian Federation.
Apart from attending master classes at the University, the students of ISEC NAS RA visited the hotel “Cosmos”, where a special lecture was held on hotel service technologies. They also got acquainted with the hotel rooms, food service, visited the conference halls and the fitness center of the hotel “Cosmos”.
During the practical classes the administration of the Russian State University of Tourism and Services Studies organized excursion activities, such as, visits to Read Square, the “New Jerusalem” clusters, the VDNKH, the Holy Trinity- St. Sergius Lavra, the Museum-Reserve in “Mouranovo Estate named after F. Tyutchev”, the Tretyakov Picture Gallery etc.
At the end of the practice the professors of the Russian State University of Tourism and Services Studies organized a round table for the Master students of ISEC NAS RA to discuss the conducted practical and research work. Then the students of the department “Tourism Management” of the International Scientific-Educational Center of NAS RA were awarded certificates.
