Launch of cooperation with FAST

On March 15, 2012, a new cooperation agreement was signed between the International Scientific-Educational Center of the NAS RA and the Science and Technology Foundation of Armenia (FAST) for the joint implementation of the SciNova program.
The "SciNova" program is implemented by FAST in cooperation with the University of Aston, within the framework of which the "Methodology of Research" and "Commercialization of Science" academic courses have been developed, aimed to develop the basic knowledge and practical skills of Armenian masters and postgraduates in these fields.
The purpose of the joint cooperation is the introduction of the course developed by FAST in the postgraduate programs of the faculties of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) of the higher educational institutions of Armenia.
Within the framework of the cooperation, it is planned to integrate the courses "Research Methodology", and "Commercialization of Science" in the STEM master's/or postgraduate academic program as compulsory courses based on the provided academic program from the 2022-2023 academic year. By this, FAST will implement a ToT training program for the staff of STEM faculties to teach the courses and/or to disseminate the knowledge gained among the other lecturers of the Center.
